Rooms To Go Opens First Of Four Houston Area Stores

Rooms To Go, a leading independent furniture company, will open the first of four stores in the Houston area, on Saturday, March 29 at 10 a.m. Located adjacent to Baybrook Mall, the new store adds to an already robust list of Texas locations including stores in Dallas, Austin and San Antonio. The store is located at the Gulf Freeway and Bay Area Boulevard.
Over the next few months, the retailer also will open stores in The Woodlands, Stafford and Willowbrook.

At the opening event, Seaman will discuss the company's vision and partnership plans with local charities DePelchin Children's Center and the Houston Chronicle's Goodfellows program. The occasion will be marked by a special ribbon cutting event hosted by Seaman, along with DePelchin CEO Dr. Curtis Mooney and Houston Chronicle publisher Jack Sweeney.
