Bush Industries Announces The Realignment Of Its North American Furniture Operations

Bush Industries, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of ready-to-assemble furniture, casegoods furniture, and a supplier of surface technologies, today announced the realignment of its operations. It will now operate through three divisions, Bush Furniture North America, Bush Furniture Europe and Bush Technologies. Bush Furniture North America will market furniture under four brand names: Bush Furniture, Eric Morgan, Bush Business Furniture and Röhr Furniture.
“We are committed to building these brands and to bringing more excitement to the marketplace with new products and programs, as well as maintaining our position as the supply-chain and quality leader," commented Paul Bush, chairman and chief executive officer.
"We also want to advise that Greg Bush, formerly President of Bush Furniture, has decided to leave the company to pursue other endeavors, but will remain as a director of the corporation and assist in the transition. Greg has made many significant contributions to Bush Industries in various executive capacities throughout the last fifteen years, and has been instrumental in the development of several key initiatives that will help fuel our future growth," said Mr. Bush.
Mr. Bush concluded, “As part of our strategic reorganization, David White, formerly President of Bush Business Furniture, was named President of Bush Furniture North America. Several other significant additions and changes have been made to the design, marketing and product development groups to enhance our ability to provide more exciting products and programs to our customers. These changes are part of our continuing efforts to streamline our operations while strengthening our capabilities in the marketplace.”
