Red Cross Award Presented To Mealey's Furniture

Mealey’s Furniture, a family-run group of stores in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, announced that it has been honored by the American Red Cross Lower Bucks County Chapter for its support of the new Service to the Armed Forces program in 2008.   

The plaque reads:  “The American Red Cross Lower Bucks County Chapter would like to recognize Mealey’s Furniture for its overall support of the Service to the Armed Forces Program in 2008.  Your commitment to the organization’s mission allowed us to provide needed support and hope to those serving in the United States Armed Forces and their families.  Mealey’s Furniture truly exemplifies our motto of ‘neighbors helping neighbors.”
 
To commemorate the opening of its newest store in Warminster PA this past summer, Mealey’s Furniture donated a portion of profits from every sale at all of its stores during July and August, and collected more than a half-ton of needed supplies for wounded veterans.
 
Mealey’s Furniture is a family-run group of stores in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  The company believes strongly in being good neighbors in its communities and has donated more than $500,000 to nearly 100 different non-profit organizations throughout the region.
