Joya Sleep Systems by Garme Receives Environmental Seal of Approval

Joya Sleep Systems by Garme announced that it has received the American Green Cross Environmental Seal of Approval for its use of environmentally-friendly materials in its products.

This seal was presented to Joya for its expanding use of renewable soy-based ingredients in its foams.

“We take both the health aspect of our products and ‘going green’ very seriously. We are investing a lot in research and technology to make all of our products more environmentally friendly without sacrificing quality,” says Carolyn Hauck, executive vice president of Joya Sleep Systems. “For example, we’re looking at ways to expand our current content of 15%soy in our Precious Gems White Diamond to higher and higher percentages as the technology evolves.”

This holds true for many of Joya’s products, such as it new Emerald Coast washable visco pillow, and the Precious Gems White Pearl, which uses High Resilience Soy in its Spring Foam System.

“We consciously watch our “excesses” in relation to the design of our product. Especially where more does not affect the comfort level and quality of the product. These “excesses” add cost to the product, as well as waste traditional oil sources and/or natural based alternatives,” Hauck says.
