The article noted that the store carries the Bassett and Lane Brands as well as Stress-O-Pedic mattresses. It also quoted statistics that Southwest County's real estate market has rebounded with, "closing at a rate of about 1,000 a month, three times the pace of 2007 and a faster pace than at any time since early 2005."

The clarionledger.com, Gulfport, MS (http://bit.ly/ximPl) reported on February 17th that, "Charles Thomas Ingram III, former owner of High Point Furniture, pleaded guilty Monday on five counts of false pretense. Harrison County Circuit Judge Roger Clark set sentencing for May 5." The article also noted that he faces up to 50 years in prison and a fine of over $100,000 for taking customer deposits from hurricane victims and not delivering.
